Imagine: The Celebration of a New MythImagine: The Celebration of a New Myth is a story about exploring past trauma, be it mental, physical, or sexual abuse experienced in early childhood. I call the original trauma the old myth and then describe transforming this history by bridging to a whole new story.
This transformation was accomplished in a unique way by following Shamanic tradition. By taking the past trauma and transforming it through the making of masks, shields, or drums, individuals were able to utilize all of their senses and thus get a fuller picture of how past trauma had impacted upon their developmental process. For a full decade, I assisted individuals in this unique process that included body, mind, and spiritual experiences. It was a great privilege to witness many remarkable transformations. Bridging to new myth is a remarkable journey! Welcome to Imagine: The Celebration of a New Myth! |

The Way We WereThe Way We Were is a collection of short stories about what it was like living on a farm from 1939 to the 1950s. Imagine a world with no hydro, no internet or social media, no indoor plumbing, and no central heating. It was, however, about to change. These changes would reflect hardship and struggle, but also laughter and celebration. A true testament to our ancestors who helped shape who we are today. Welcome to a glimpse of the way we were!

Dakini the Dancing WolfExploring the Mysteries of Totems and How Animals Heal Humans.
Dakini the Dancing Wolf is the story of a wolf/husky hybrid who was rescued from a puppy mill in 1995. Initially ill and mistrustful of anything human, she moved to a remote island with me, her grandmother. She then healed and transformed into the amazing stature of a regal white wolf. Living with me for fifteen years, she shared the deep mysteries, legends, and instinctual wisdom about nature and then together we passed on this ancient wisdom to others locally and internationally. Most importantly, she taught her grandmother the dance of joy. |
