About Margaret
Margaret has been teaching and healing within the context of her spiritual traditions for more than 28 years. She has worked with individuals, groups and communities here in Canada and also abroad in the UK and Russia. Prior to this Margaret worked as a professional psychologist and counsellor in the field of addictions. The goal of all her teachings is to facilitate the process of healing and empowerment – to assist people in returning to their own place of beauty.
As a writer, Margaret has recently completed a book called Imagine: The Celebration of a New Myth, which deals with healing from childhood trauma and bridging from the old myth to a new myth – a place of joy and celebration!
Margaret also has several other books available, including The Way We Were, which is a collection of short stories detailing Margaret's life growing up on the Prairies and the many changes that occurred during those formative years. With stories written by both herself and her siblings, we get to experience what life was like on a farm from 1939 to the 1950s in a world that was rapidly changing. The Way We Were contains personal anecdotes, history (both family and general), and many photographs, as well as some recipes that are about a hundred years old. A true testament to our ancestors who helped shape who we are today, this book will give you a glimpse into the way we were.
Margaret is a passionate advocate for rescue dogs, her book Dakini the Dancing Wolf is about her own rescue dog, a very special wolf/husky hybrid named Dak.
Margaret lives on the Sunshine Coast in BC, Canada and spends much of her time writing.
